Scientific research of constitutional-legal status Ukrainian people: state and prospects

Abstract

The relevance of this scientific work lies in the fact that in national and foreign legal science there is not quite enough attention paid to such a legal phenomenon as the constitutional and legal status of the people. Therefore, when writing this article, various points of view of scientists, representatives of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus and Ukraine were explored and analyzed, which are set out in textbooks and manuals on such a concept as the people, as well as those fundamental concepts that define it. These concepts include: democracy, the sovereignty of the people, state sovereignty, the rights and duties of the people, elections, referendum, etc. In addition, this scientific article is devoted to the generalization of existing scientific points of view, the purpose of which is to examine the legal and constitutional and legal status of the Ukrainian people. During the writing of the article, the positions of scientists regarding the genesis, concept, elements, essence, legal personality, principles, powers, guarantees of the constitutional and legal status of the Ukrainian people were analyzed. On the basis of which it was concluded that, unfortunately, in our national legal doctrine there is obviously not enough work, the appropriate kind, devoted to this problem, therefore scientific research of this topic is of extreme urgency.
