Legal aspects of state support for the creative industries in the context of digitalization

Abstract

The article examines the role of the creative industries in the economy of society and the country, as well as the need to establish a legal framework for state support of the sector. The aim of the article is to examine the legal framework for state support in the context of the digitalization of the creative industries in Kazakhstan and to identify ways to improve the regulatory framework. The study identifies the mechanisms of state support for the creative industries, the challenges involved, and areas for improvement. In the context of digital development, establishing an effective system of state support for the creative industries is of particular importance. Based on an analysis of the current legislative framework, the institutional foundations of legal regulation, the stages of its development, and existing gaps are examined. The main forms and mechanisms of state support are analyzed in detail. The study employs legal, systemic, and analytical methods. It focuses on current issues in the sector, the comprehensive development of mechanisms for state support of the creative industries in Kazakhstan, and the improvement of legislation. The findings can be used in the implementation of public policy and the drafting of legislation.
